Have You Ever Built a Robot

Monday, March 14th, 2011

If you have not built a robot let me tell you one thing.  They are really fun to make but a little hard at the same time.  For a school project, I had to make a robot that did something.  My robot was really good at giving you a snack. And if you needed someone to talk to, she was the one for it.  The robot was named, Roboto Watato.  RW could do mostly anything.  When we made the robot, we had to use recycleable stuff, like boxes, water bottles, paper towel rolls, and old rollerskates.  We also had to make a poster to advertise it, we tried to get all the younger kids in our school to buy our robot. As soon as I can I will post pictures of how everything looks.

the history of computers

Thursday, January 27th, 2011
this is a old computer

this is a old computer

The development of the modern day computer was the result of advances in technologies and man’s need to quantify. Papyrus helped early man to record language and numbers. The abacus was one of the first counting machines..
Some of the earlier mechanical counting machines lacked the technology to make the design work. For instance, some had parts made of wood prior to metal manipulation and manufacturing. Imagine the wear on wooden gears. This history of computers site includes the names of early pioneers of math and computing and links to related sites about the History of Computers, for further study. This site would be a good Web adjunct to accompany any book on the History of Computers or Introduction to Computers. The “H” Section includes a link to the History of the Web Beginning at CERN which includes Bibliography and Related Links. Hitmill.com strives to always include related links for a broader educational experience. “Who invented the computer?” is not a question with a simple answer. The real answer is that many inventors contributed to the history of computers and that a computer is a complex piece of machinery made up of many parts, each of which can be considered a separate invention.

what should I blog about today? You will Know when you Read this post.

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

Have you every wondered what the million dollar question asked in the blogging world actually is? How about, what should I blog about today?

What should I blog about today, has unquestionably got to be the one and all time questions most asked in the blogging world, and I am sure that many bloggers have asked that question several times over in their blogging career. I have to admit, that it is very difficult to keep coming up with fresh new ideas for blog posts, every single day. However, to assist you, I have made a short list of three simple steps to follow to get new ideas for your new blog posts. This has helped me tremendously when I get stumped and hope these ideas are helpful to you.

First, start a list of ideas for your blog posts. You could simply look at your blog niche and start a top ten list of sites within that niche. Top ten lists seem to be popular and also get spread about on the Internet and social networking sites, like Twitter.

Second, you could start a new post that rewards your readers. It can be a weekly or monthly post that recognizes your readers and including a link to their site as the reward.

Three, another idea is to interview somebody who is in a niche related to your blog. It is a simple task, just email the person, ask permission and add a list of your questions and wait for their response.

That, pretty much wraps this post up and should give you some fresh ideas for the next time you run out of ideas to blog about.

Hope this blog post was helpful to you.

the Arctic wolfs life

Wednesday, January 26th, 2011

if you thinking why i am writing about the Arctic wolf it is because i hade to research it and its habaitat. it has 42 teeth. they live in dens in the harsh and romote arctic eating carabo seals and lam

arctic_wolf1

The Arctic wolf lives mainly in the Arctic, the lands located 67 degrees north latitude. Except for a short time during the summer, this region is mainly covered in snow and ice most of the year. Because of this, the Arctic wolf has adapted to this region extremely well. Their white coats allow them to blend into the snowy backgrounds – allowing them a natural camouflage.

In comparison with their grey wolf cousins, the Arctic wolf has smaller and rounder ears, a thick coat, a shorter muzzle and shorter legs to help reduce heat loss. In addition to this, they have well padded paws and fur between the pads to protect them from the cold conditions since this region’s temperatures can drop to minus 70 degree Fahrenheit.

The average height of an Arctic wolf is 25 to 31 inches, three to five feet in length and a weight of up to 175lb. Females are typically lighter than males.
